THEME: WHERE TO FROM HERE?
In 2019, State of Social brought together Australian and international voices to interrogate what comes next for digital and social, as the industry moved beyond experimentation and into maturity.
As major platforms reached saturation, the industry faced a pivotal moment. Growth was no longer guaranteed by simply showing up in the feed. This year asked a bigger, more uncomfortable question: where do marketers go next?
Speakers explored what lay beyond the immediate present, from the rise of voice technology and emerging interfaces to new models of content distribution and audience connection. The focus was not on chasing trends, but on preparing marketers for the next phase of digital communication before it arrived.
