How do you create products, services and experiences your customers want to tell the world about? Get practical takeaways on how to understand what’s important to customers and then turn those insights into compelling value propositions, memorable moments and a brand customers love and trust.

Heralding from the Meerkats school of purpose, Emma knew that her calling in life was to help create better experiences for customers. Having gone through life ruthlessly analysing her own major purchase, travel, vehicle and health experiences, it was fate when she walked through the door of Meerkats (subsequently known as Wunderman Thompson and now VML) and discovered that you could actually do that for a living.

In the five years following that fateful day, she has sunk her teeth into projects such as Western Australia’s Electric Vehicle Charging Network where she built a more accessible charging experience; she’s helped Dan Murphy’s and BWS to understand where their customers find value in the fulfilment process, and she’s worked on attention design and process design for Perth Universities to help provide better student experiences and to help connect students with their purpose.

She now resides at Synergy, Western Australia’s energy retailer, where she eagerly spends her days thinking about how to create value for customers to engage them in the Energy Transition. Emma delights in thinking about how meaty concepts such as Purpose, Brand, Value, Trust and Emotion can combine in a melting pot to create memorable experiences based on genuine insight to drive better outcomes for customers and businesses alike.
