BARRY WALKER AT SOS21

Barry began his career in Perth at Meerkats as a brand strategist in 2011.

Helping brands to develop new ways of thinking about themselves and connecting that thought with the outside world, he worked with P&N Bank, Murdoch University, 96FM, mental health and well-being not-for-profit, Youth Focus, and disability service Activ Foundation.

In 2013, Barry was awarded a position within the WPP Fellowship program. The three year Fellowship saw him move with his family to London where he developed brand and digital strategies for TNS global, The Royal Mint, Rekitt Benckiser, Unilever and The Minderoo Foundation’s Walk Free initiative.

Barry moved to New York in 2014 to take up the position of Planning Director at J. Walter Thompson where his clients included, KPMG, Kellogg’s, Campari and Macy’s.

Now back home in Perth, Barry works as a senior strategist for Wunderman Thompson across energy and aged care, sustainable agriculture and education.
