David Ray is Reddit’s Country Manager for Australia and works with both local and global teams across all facets of the business to elevate Reddit’s presence in Australia.

David has over 25 years of experience, including leading local branches of international companies like Amazon where he led the Australian launch of Amazon Music Unlimited and Prime Music, and driving growth at Twitter as Director of Audiences and Strategy.

He’s also worked at leading Australian companies like Telstra managing their digital rights investment in the NRL and launching NRL Digital Media, as well as WooliesX where he managed Woolworths’ portfolio of customer websites and apps.

David has a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Canberra and a Master of Business in Marketing from the University of Technology, Sydney.

In his free time, he enjoys attending live music with his wife and kids, doing the occasional triathlon to offset his love of good food, and browsing his favorite Reddit communities including r/sydney, r/soundgarden, and r/lawnbeer.
