The Creator Economy: Where It Came from, and Why It’s Here to Stay
With more consumers placing their trust in creators, it’s increasingly common for a social strategy to feature a creator (or ten). Find out where the Creator Economy came from, why it’s worth incorporating creators into a social strategy, and how to do it.
Pamela Obeid is a content and social whiz, with years of experience spanning across agency, publishing, production, and in-house. She’s currently the Social Lead at Amplify, a leading international creator and content agency. She’s managed content and social teams, big and small, with a special interest in youth media, the creator economy, and keeping a close eye on what makes the zeitgeist tick.
Her role at Amplify sees her managing a team of social producers and community managers, and overseeing all always-on social content to ensure deliverables are tonally relevant and platform-native without losing distinct brand messaging.Â
Her portfolio of work spans across written, social, long-form video, and podcast, meaning she has a keen eye for the detail – some might say too keen.
Outside of work, she lives to work for her two kittens: Pancakes and Velcro, who are just as adorable as their names suggest.Â
