Planning your trip to SOS26

For anyone involved in the social and digital world, the State of Social is unmissable.

The marketing landscape moves fast. State of Social creates space to keep up. Now in our ninth year, we bring the industry to Perth for Australia’s most insightful and unconferencey conference, hosted at Optus Stadium.

Two days of keynotes, discussions and brainstorms analysing the latest trends and techniques. It’s time to ditch complexity for simplicity. To get back to basics and on with what works. It’s time for a refresh and to rekindle your love for digital and social in the process.

If you plan to travel for a single marketing event, make it this one.

Why travel to Perth?

Why we choose Perth (and why you should, too).

Each year, marketers, founders, and creatives travel from across Australia and overseas to be part of an event that feels different the moment you arrive. With more sunshine than any other Australian capital, Perth offers the perfect backdrop to step out of the daily grind and into a space where you can think clearly and connect meaningfully.

Perth offers something rare for a marketing conference. It is calm without being quiet, world-class without being overwhelming, and far enough from the noise to enable honest conversations. The setting encourages you to slow down just enough to go deeper, whether with ideas, people, or your own thinking.

For many attendees, travelling to State of Social is the point. It turns the conference into a true experience rather than just another event on the calendar. Two days of learning, followed by conversations that continue over coffee, dinner, or a walk along the river. No rushing back to the office. No distractions pulling you away. When you’re here, you’re all in. By removing the back-to-office pull, attendees consistently report higher retention of strategies and more meaningful networking than at local pop-in events.

All about the tickets

Each year, attendees fly in from across Australia and overseas to be part of State of Social. It’s two fun-filled days of learning and upskilling away from the daily grind, with gourmet eats and all the barista-brewed coffee you can drink. No sales pitches. No recycled content.

  • Tuesday 25 August – Day One: Fire up your imagination. Positively jam-packed with the hottest of hot takes, with keynotes and your choice of breakouts from our industry’s trailblazers.
  • Wednesday 26 August – Day Two: Hone your skills and knowledge. Practical deep-dives into strategy, creativity, and technology. You won’t just hear ideas; you’ll build the roadmap to execute them.

That’s 24+ hours of fresh ideas, all available to rewatch online, on demand, only with an All Access ticket. And then there’s the food. And the coffee. And the surprises. And the networking…
