Never Not Creative’s Andy Wright and UnLtd’s Chris Freel are opening up about mental health at SOS 21.

Did you know, over half the people in our industry show signs of mental ill-health?

That’s a lot of people. People you know. What can we do about it? Never Not Creative’s Andy Wright and UnLtd’s Chris Freel will explain at State of Social ’21.

Meet our workshoppers Andy and Chris.

One was the inspirational co-founder of For The People and has run the local offices of global agencies (that’s Andy). The other is a marketing and sales legend of international repute (that’s Chris). Both know all about the stresses and strains of the marketing and media industries.

Now, Andy (creator of the Never Not Creative community and co-chair of the Mentally-Healthy Change Group) and Chris (CEO of UnLtd, our industry’s charity foundation) are on a mission to help us all stay mentally healthy.

Workshop: Whose Responsibility is our Mental Health?

Livestreamed from Sydney, Andy and Chris’s workshop will unpack recent research that has uncovered the scale of the mental health challenge in the creative, media and marketing industries.

While we’re getting better at talking about mental health, we need to get better at managing it, both as individuals and as an industry. Andy and Chris will share the latest initatives and give us a plan for how we can look after our mental health and wellbeing.

Andy and Chris join Garry Dean, Gabe Mach, Ben de Jonge, Scott Sanders and Zach Kangelaris on the talent-packed bill on Day Two of SOS 21, when you have a plethora of workshops to choose from. Find out who else will be at Optus Stadium on 24 and 25 August.
